Acura has recently launched this campain, showing people being sucked out of their seats in slow motion. We’re not sure what this is supposed to represent. Slow motion car accidents? But we were captivated. What do you think of their ads? Creepy? Or cool?
We’re excited to hear more about how the Volvo XC60 City Safe Feature works on the road, with regular drivers. It seems like an ingenious system, designed to reduce low speed collisions in city driving. I can picture an entire fleet of NYC xc60 cabs, can’t you?
Is this all you’ve ever wished for? Chevy seems to think its target market dreams of footwear falling from the sky. Seems a little dangerous to me! I’m waiting for the vehicle that shows up on my doorstep with Mary Poppins at the wheel, the Brady Bunch’s Alice riding shotgun and Rachel Ray in the backseat whipping up school lunches for my kids for the remainder of the year.
Aimed at the young-adult demographic, like the Scion xB, it may actually prove to be a nice thrifty alternative to the Compact SUV for small families. As gas reaches towards $5 a gallon, I for one will have my eye on this segment in the coming months.
