From Miss Mota Mouth this week comes a shocking revelation that we find especially crushing…
Which cars are getting crushed? Some cars are squeaky clean, have leather seats, full navigation systems, V6′s or V8 engines with far less than 30,000 miles on them. They still have that new car smell and in some cases, will still have bits of protective film covering the interior parts. For the most part they could never be considered damaged except for the odd scratch or ding that comes from brushing against the car or pulling a suitcase out of the trunk.
The all-new CTS Sport Wagon and redesigned SRX Crossover will be coming your way early next year as 2009 models, according to Autoweek.
The CTS wagon is to be revealed at this weekend’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and is expected to ride on the CTS’ 113.4″ wheelbase with a choice of 2 V-6 engines, the 304-hp model shared with the new Camaro, and a base 263-hp motor available. Both the available manual and automatic transmissions have six gears, and it will be available in All Wheel Drive. The styling is similar to the existing CTS in front, but the back has a slightly fin-like tail and the sloping c-pillars that are popular on everything from the Mercedes GL class to the Honda CR-V
The SRX is being replaced with a more SUV-like version that is based heavily on the Provoq show car.
Fewer details were available about the SRX at press time, and it is expected to street in Summer 2009, but the article stated there would be FWD and AWD versions, and seating for 5 passengers.
