A few weeks ago, Car and Driver published spy photos of what they believed was the forthcoming 2010 Porsche compact SUV.  Porsche brass have been vehemently denying the existance of such a car, but with the emergence of the Audi Q5 and VW Tiguan such a vehicle certainly seems possible.

The story was recently revised, however, claiming "Recent reports suggest these pictures show a next-gen 2011 Cayenne prototype, not Porsche’s upcoming small SUV"

It certainly looks smaller to me. You be the judge.
